Accident FAQs

We offer a free of charge Accident Management Scheme with every Network/Leaseplan vehicle we supply. Please see our accident management guide for more information. If you have Accident Management included in your contract, please call DriverLine on 0344 493 7659 to talk to our Accident Management advisors, report the incident and receive advice.

What should I do if I have had an accident?

If you do not have Accident Management in your contract, please call your own insurance company. Please advise your fleet manager or customer service team in accordance with your company policy.

What should I do if I have had an incident in my vehicle and it requires a repair?

If you do not have accident management included then please call your own insurance company and arrange the repair with them. Please be advised that your vehicle is assessed for damage at the end of its contract and damage that is deemed not to be fair wear and tear will be charged. I have had an accident in my replacement hire vehicle. Who do I Call?

There will be a number for assistance displayed on the windscreen of the vehicle or contained within the rental pack provided to you at the start of the hire. You will also need to report the accident to your insurance company.

My car has been vandalised. Who do I call?

If your vehicle has been vandalised, call the police right away. They will provide an incident number for your insurance company claim, you will need to check any CCTV in operation, including dash-cam footage to help with your claim, then call your own insurance company and report the crime to your fleet manager or customer service team, in accordance with your company policy.
